Today I should be celebrating a birthday with someone.

Today should be a day of conversation, fun and laughter.

Today should be a dinner out and maybe a movie.
It won't be.
Today is Pete's birthday.

I am so sorry that he's not around so we can celebrate that milestone with him.
Think back on all the birthday's you had with him and all the fun the two of you had. It's a sad day because it's the first, but he would want you to smile and think about the good times :)
