Sorry to hear about the job - they sounded like idiots anyway.
How is Peter taking it? Is he seeing this as a good excuse to go out and get a better job so you can buy him lots of nice things. I hope ya know I am being sarcastic.

Sometimes things like this happen in order to make room for something better.
But then, sometimes sh*t happens. Hope it all works out!
Incurable - Ya know I believe that everything happens for a reason if nothing else I met a terrific person while at this job that has turned into a wonderful relationship. Maybe that was my sole reason for taking the job.
Yes Fred....I will be there. I might be drinking water, but I wouldn't miss your B-day.
That sucks. We've been through it in our house too. Here's hoping for new paths.
